Telemetry Pouch Free Crochet Pattern

 

Measures 7-1/2" x 7-3/4"
excluding handle


The following pattern is my original design.
Please only copy or print this pattern for personal use.
Please contact me if you find any errors.

MATERIALS:

Red Heart Super Saver, 4ply worsted weight (Less than 4 ounces)
Hook Size G
1" Button
Yarn needle

Stitches: ch, dc, sc, sl st.

Difficulty: MEDIUM


PANEL (Make 2)

R1: Ch27: Sc in the hump of the 2nd ch from the hook.
Sc in the hump of ea rem ch. (26sc) --Right Side--

Rs2-30: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (26sc)

ASSEMBLY

Holding both panels tog with Wrong Sides facing, Rev Sc down the right side, across the bottom and up the left side, placing extra sts in each corner.

HANDLE

R1. Ch4, sc in the hump of the 2nd ch from the hook.
Sc in the hump of ea rem ch. (3sc)

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st. (3sc)

Rep R2 until handle is desired length. (I made 104 rows)

Fasten off.

Center handle and join cor sts on each side of pouch using the yarn needle.
Be careful not to twist the handle.

Weave in ends.

Working in the two sts near the center along the top of one panel, join same yarn with a sl st in the first st. Ch15, join with a sl st in the next st on the panel.

Using the yarn needle and same yarn, sew on the button.

Note: if your button holes are too small to use a yarn needle and yarn to join it you may use a sewing needle and similar color thread to join the button to the bag.
