The following pattern is my original design and can only be copied or printed for personal use.

NOTE: This pattern has been partially tested beyond its original design.
If you find an error, please contact me.

MATERIALS:

Hook: Size I

Yarn: 4 ply worsted weight yarn (Less than 3 ounces)
(I used Red Heart for the cover in the photo)

Stitches used: ch, sl st, hdc, dc, tr.

Difficulty: Easy


RND 1: Chain 4, dc in 4th ch from hk, * ch 1, 2 dc in same sp. Repeat from * 4 more times. Ch 1. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 4.

RND 2: Sl st in next dc, sl st in next ch 1 sp. *Ch 3, sl st in next ch 1 sp. Repeat from * around. [6 ch 3 spaces].

RND 3: Ch 6, sc in same spaces as the next sl sts on previous rnd. (Repeat around ending with a sc in the same place as the beg ch 6).

RND 4: Pulling each ch 3 space on RND 2 to the front, (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in each of those ch 3 sps.

RND 5: Working in each ch 6 space on RND 3, do 9 sc in each ch 6 sp. Join with a sl st in 1st sc.

RND 6: Working in fl only of each sc on RND 5, (sc, dc, 5 tr, dc, sc) in each set of 9 sc. (note: the first sc is in the same st as the sl st you did at the end of RND 5)

RND 7: Sc in each rem unworked lp (or bl) of each sc on RND 5. Join with sl st. Ch 2

RNDS 8-15: Hdc in bl only in each st on previous rnd. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 2. Ch 2, DO NOT TURN.

RND 16: Hdc in bl only in each st on previous rnd. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 2. Ch 4, DO NOT TURN.

RND 17: Working in fl only, work 3 tr in each st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 4.

FASTEN OFF.

WEAVE IN ALL YARN ENDS.

NOTE: Entire pattern can be worked in one color or you can work the flower in one color and the rest (beginning at RND 7) in another color.
