The following pattern is my original design.

MATERIALS:
Hook: Size H (I use Boye brand)
Yarn: 4-Ply Worsted Weight Yarn ( I used Red Heart for the one in the photo)
Magnet or Pin Back
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.
Difficulty: EASY
ROW 1: Ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hk. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 2: 3sc in next st. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 3: 2 sc in next st, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 4: Sc in each sc (5 sc). Ch 1, turn.
ROW 5: 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc (7 sc). Ch 3, turn.
ROW 6: 5 dc in next unworked st(not in the same sp as the beginning chain 3), sk next st, sl st in next st, sk next st, 5 dc in next st, dc in last st. Ch 3, Do not turn.
FASTEN OFF ONLY IF YOU WISH TO JOIN A NEW COLOR
BORDER:
Join White or continue with same color
(Ch 3, sc) evenly around sides of the heart.
FASTEN OFF.
WEAVE IN ENDS.
TO FINISH: Glue a magnet or a pin back onto one side of the heart.
